Water in the tank, rust formation and much more? You are probably familiar with the common problems associated with E5 or E10 petrol. Bacteria convert alcohol (ethanol) into acetic acid, which leads to rust formation in the tank and the entire fuel system.

Older vehicles need lead substitute to protect the valve seats. At the same time, petrol oxidizes if it has been in the tank for more than a month, which has the effect of reducing its quality (e.g. octane rating etc.).

Moreover, petrol is “dry”, i.e. it does not lubricate – and all metallic parts in the fuel system break down more quickly, rub or dry out (plastics).

About us

Ing. Roman KAUBEK Schmiermittel was founded in May 2010. From 2011 onwards, we focused our activities on classic car oils and products related to vintage and classic cars. By chance we got our hands on original formulations of oils from API SA to API SF. Based on these recipes, which are adapted to today’s fuels, our LABRADOR classic car oil is produced for you since 2012.

In 2019, a fuel stabilizer was formulated in cooperation with chemists, which really solves all current petrol problems. LABRACIN fuel stabilizer was born! As this product was very well accepted in the Austrian classic car scene and the feedback was extremely good, we decided to go international with this product starting in 2020.
